Welcome Guide and Tent Appliances
Check in
Check in is from 4pm to 7pm.
1. If you arrive before, we can hold your luggage at the welcome center free of charge.
2. If you arrive after, your check in details will be in an envelope at the welcome center.
3. 2 Hour early check in is a $20 upgrade and allows guests to check in as early as 2pm.
Check Out
Check out is at 11am.
When you leave, please:
1. Zip or tie any tent doors and windows closed.
2. Leave all items in the tent that were there upon check in (you will be charged for any items taken from the tents).
3. Please leave used linens in a pile on the beds.
Food
1. Food is not allowed inside the tents. Nor are deodorant, toothpaste, or other fragrant products. Please leave these in your car with the windows closed. If you prefer, we will store it for you in our shipping container upon request.
2. There are picnic tables for you to use near the campfire for meal prep and eating.
Quiet Hours
Quiet hours start at 10:00 pm (22:00) and run till 7:00 am (7:00)
We ask that all guests be respectful of each other.
Pets
Pets are only allowed at Starlight Retreat with special permission from management. If you’ve already added a pet to your reservation, you won’t have any problems.
Shoes
Please remove your shoes and place them on the rubber mat by the door when entering the tents. Especially when it’s muddy outside.
No Smoking/ Vaping
We don’t allow smoking or vaping of any kind on property. This includes for medicinal use. You’re welcome to go off property to smoke. We have smoke alarms in each tent, any guest who smokes inside their tent will be charged a $15,000 replacement fee when we have to replace the tent and the articles inside as smoke smells absorb into canvas and do not come out.
Bear Spray
We provide one can of bear spray to guests who ask for it to boost the peace of mind of any campers concerned about bears. This is not a toy. Only use in the very unlikely chance you are in danger. Please leave it in your tent when you check out. More can be purchased at the welcome center.
Electrical
For AC powered devices, press the oval shaped button below the AC ports and you’ll have power. This must be on to turn on your tent lights.
Remember, we are off grid and your tent is powered 100% by solar energy. So leaving devices plugged in all day may result in an empty tent battery at night. Especially on cloudy days.
