Island Park, ID and the greater Yellowstone ecosystem is a high altitude mountain climate and has unpredictable weather. But these averages as stated by US Climate Data should help you plan for your trip. Things to consider:

– Clothing. We suggest all guests bring long johns, sweats, or other clothing to sleep in if you like to sleep really warm. Most will not need it, but it’s always great to be prepared.

– This is still camping and you will be sleeping in a canvas tent. We don’t have thermostats and HVAC systems in them so the temperature will fluctuate with the ambient temperature. We believe this is all part of the camping experience, to wake up in a cool tent, still cozy warm under your blankets to the sound of birds chirping and the sun lighting up the side of the tent.
